Took long enough too, I've only been here for over three years lol. Oh well, not like page views honestly matter to me. But its still pretty awesome to see it go up so fast these days.

The Literary Lounge Authors and Illustrators will be featured at the Yuba Sutter Regional Arts Council Gallery for the month of July. Opening reception Fri, June 12 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm...

This is THE BIG ONE! Yes, this is the literary event of the year for Yuba-Sutter. It will be a showcase of Literary and Visual Arts at the YSRAC Gallery, together with a catered reception in honor of the Literary Lounge Members, hosted by Mr. Billy Hovey.

The exhibit will feature ten regional authors, five amazing illustrators and a plethora of poets and writers. The reception will be a glamorous experience--an evening at a retro 1970's Mocktail Lounge. Feel free to wear your finest 1970's vintage couture and enjoy a time of literary style and delight.

Wine and dine on the finest hors d'ovures we can offer and have an opportunity to win a fabulous 1970's memorabilia gift basket.

This Literary Lounge Showcase will be held at the Yuba Sutter Regional Arts Council (YSRAC ) Gallery, located at 624 E Street, Marysville, CA (the building just south of the Lee Burrows building).

Bring a friend and show your support for the Literary Arts.

But that's not all. . . no sir, the exhibit will run from June 5th - July 22nd. Drop by the YSRAC Gallery during those dates, buy a signed book (or ten), an illustration, vote for your favorite font and enter your name for a free wordshop at Amicus Books Literary Arts Center. Proceeds raised during this show are a 2 for 1. That's correct... when you buy a book or illustration from the show, it benefits both YSRAC and Amicus Books Literary Arts Center.

I never thought I'd have an oppertunity like this... A couple of pieces of my art is going to be in an Art Gallery in July. The Literary Lounge at Amicus was accepted to be guests for the month, so my friend Kara asked me to join the Lounge. I guess being so critical of my work made me underestimate my art... a lot. Everywhere I turn here and someone sees it, they tell me that it that I do so. Its rather hard to believe. But its happening, and I'm so excited. I'm absolutly thrilled with how many differnt oppertunities I've been given since coming here.
